You wish to be part of a caravan of trucks on the highway, but there’s only two of them and too many cars? You’re having framerate issues and like to reduce your traffic without giving up those fancy traffic packs you installed? You just wanna have crowded streets at rush hour? Then this one is for you: Either pick one of the preset mods, or let me show you in detail, how you tailor your traffic as you see fit in notime, using this mod. Make sure you read the readme about how to use this! Zu Risiken und Nebenwirkungen lesen Sie die Packungsbeilage und fragen Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker!

  1. This mod works great. It really improves the traffic flow. The FPS on my game is now a lot higher. Rating: 10/10

  2. Wooow, my very first star! I’m proud as hell! Champaign for all of you!

The Rhythmo..hick.. uuum, …saur. Na Sdrovye!

  3. GOBA Users (Trucker’s Map):

Goba is the only map that has an own file such as the one in my mod ( I don’t know about ProMod).
You still can use my mod with it, but then it must be placed BELOW the Map in the mod list!

    • +1 , Just rename the traffic density file you want to zTraffic Density xxxx in your Mod folder and it places it below the map itself for Goba 🙂 .

      • Exactly, adding as many leading Z as are needed to get it below Gobas Map. The program loads the mods in the list from top to bottom, and like in the militairy, last order counts.

  4. I just googled Rhythmosaur (There is only one in the net) to find an old review of mine and found this mod on a chinese and a turkish page… would you believe it… with Will’s original picture.

  5. A great mod, I was finding the roads a bit bare, so I serched for a traffic density mod and found this one. I first used the 50×10, but didn’t notice a difference, so I then put on 100×50 and the roads looked just as busy as in real life, but there is a downside, the fram rate dropped from a constant 60 fps to 20 in towns and 45 everywhere else. However, it is definitely worth it. Also if you have trouble running ETS2 with a stable fram rate then this mod also offers lower traffic density to bring the frame rate up, but if I was you I would go into the graphics settings and turn those down first.

    • Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, 50X10 is pretty near to the 50×4 which seem to be used by default.
Remember, you can always customize it to your liking by just changing one or maximum two numbers. So maybe make yourself a 75×40 or so to improve your framerates:

Every piece of traffic means: More poligons (particulary trucks), more textures and each of them is a sound source, too!
