Realistic Weather Sound v1.7.4
By This mod adds better rain sound effects at exterior and interior of the truck. With this mod for sure you will use the Rain Probability at maximum. You feel like you’re in a truck and outside it’s raining. Also if you use the exterior camera you won’t belive you’re playing a game. The immersion is superb and I don’t say this because I’m the creator of it.
Also this mod makes the exterior sound a little louder, but not much, just to make it sound more realistic. Also, since version 1.5 it includes a more realistic effect of the drops on windshield and lateral windows. It’s based on AlterEgos, Awesome Rain mod and with this occasion I want to thank him for discovering the responsible file/lines. Before you jump saying it’s a steal, you need to keep in mind there are different values/effect/end result.
NOTE: What you need to know about this version is that I put a lot of work into it, especialy making the rain sound realistic in the interior of truck, rain drops on the windshield and on the cabin too including a more 3D sound. When you will hear it you will know what I am talking about. Outside sounds are now and more suitable, with
sound of drops falling on the chassis from the cabin, thunders closer and in the distance etc.

- Extract it!
- Paste the .scs file(s) into your My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod folder.

Ah, listening to that video reminds me of life in a camping trailer. Sweet. I think this has to be downloaded by me now and I’ll take a trip into Greece on TSM map.
Okay, tried your mod now.
Have deleted it.
Reason.
IT inferences with the map in ProMap 1.7 and TSM map mod so that zoom map does not work properly.
This is with 1.12 ETS2.
Please figure out why your mod does that and fix and upload a new fixed version.
Just a addtition to the prior post , that was with Promod 1.7 and Rusmap 1.3 installed together. Zoom does not function proper as in can not zoom out fully to see map parts one has to see.
It has now with promods fix!

This messes with TruckSimMap 5.4. Can not see whole map with this active..

I guess it comes with an edited game.sii in order to change in -cab sound volumes. The problem with this file is, it also defines your map scaling. among other things. So if you have that problem on any map, look if there is an edited game.sii in the def folder of the mod, and delete it. You might however look first what sound levels are used and, if necessary, change those values in the game.sii that come with your map.
