Next Traffic Mod
By This is a pretty nice mod which will improve the traffic density in game for more realistic. The amount of traffic in both day and night time have been improved. 90% trucks now have trailers!

How to install mod for ETS 2:
- Download this mod.
- Extract it!
- Paste the .scs file(s) into your My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod folder.
- Run game ~> Edit profile ~> Enable mod.
- Enjoy!
Very useful and realistic mod. You might want to halve the truck count to 7 (spawn_max_count: 7) in traffic_vehicle_type.sii to save on resources (if you have a low end PC or using high quality map mods your game MAY crash with so many trucks with trailers on the road).
Yep. With this mod, the game is now more interesting!
The download link leads to a phishing site and browser lock up requiring forced quit. What is the purpose of this on-going time-wasting practice? Will find a functioning link elsewhere.
Most modders now are using sharemods. I am so sorry, I think the Download Link is quite obvious!
Thanks, Will. I’ve tried many links to get this mod and all end up without actually getting the mod. The download link is, I would say, obscured by multiple download buttons within download buttons. These eventually lead to a virus warning (not true) and a dialogue pane that cannot be closed. I’ll try a different browser. Cheers, Will.

In Safari, after clicking start, the Mega page says “Temporary error, retrying.” After giving it a few minutes it’s clear nothing is happening.
In Firefox, Mega says it’s starting but that’s as far as it gets.
I’ve Googled every possibility and tried numerous other sites that claim to have the file but they all lead to the same browser-breaking page.
This will sort itself out in time. Not important enough to give more time on it.

Tip: Adblock Plus. Free, no nagging, you forget it is there. It will reduce this jungle of download buttons to what you really want, and it’s a huge relief on youtube, too. I couldn’t do without.

Excellent mod! This is a small sized file that makes a big improvement to traffic realism.
After running this mod for a while, I took it out of the mix.
Most of the time, the mod makes an excellent increase in the amount of traffic along with a noticeable increase in trucks with trailers. It’s cool like that. 🙂
However. I was experiencing an increase in the number of times I was endlessly stuck in traffic that would not move. Okay. It was fun to drive down the sidewalk one time to get to the intersection but I’m a “stay in the margins” type (tech writer) so the work-around was to quit ETS 2 and restart which clears all the traffic for a while.
User-adjustable traffic options in ETS would be cool tools.

A good mod but it would need more traffic at intersections and ramps, underpasses.
