Euro Truck Simulator 2 v1.13: Achievements Time!
By Finally, Euro Truck Simulator 2 v1.13 is out, you can update your game now via Steam. This new update is about new Achievements, one of the most important things that ETS2 is still missing, which can help us in testing our driving skills and necessary improvements, really a useful feature!
ETS 2 Achievements in the next update will be divided into two parts: One for Steam and the other one for World of Trucks! These achievements have been compiled with help of Steam community. There are various very easy achievements, but also really difficult ones for you to undertake in the game! Let’s see you are a good driver or not!
ETS2 Version 1.13 brings to you total 28 achievements:
- Easy – 8 Achievements: Every one can achieve them all quickly. They are all really simple things!
- Medium – 8 Achievements: Not all achievements can be unlocked quickly, there are some “quite hard” ones.
- Hard – 11 Achievements: These achievements require your degree and patience for this game.
- Extreme – 1 Achievement: The most difficult thing!
Here is the details list of all Achievements:
Exploration:
- Use the train to cross the channel – Choo-Choo Easy
- Discover all recruitment agencies – Head hunter Hard
- Discover 100% of the map – Pathfinder Extreme
- Discover more than 60% of the map – I am a GPS Medium
- Use all ports in the game (counts sea and train ports) – Successfully docked Hard
- Utilize a boat – Sardine Easy
Jobs:
- Complete deliveries with all trailer types (Machinery, ADR cargo, Container, Refrigerated, Liquid cargo, Fragile cargo, Construction, Bulk cargo) – Experience beats all! Medium
- Take and complete jobs with at least 30 different cargoes – All is possible – Hard
- Gain 20,000 XP for several consecutive jobs with the total distance below 10,000 km – Minimaxer Hard
- Complete a job worth over €130,000 and minimum 2,200 km without using a ferry – Profit hunter Medium
- Perform jobs for at least 15 different companies in the game – Reliable contractor Hard
- Use automatic parking – Friends are always here to help you Easy
- Take an urgent delivery for a minimum of 550 km and complete it with less than 30 minutes remaining – Just in time! Medium
- Complete 5 jobs in a row – in-time, without taking any damage and without using autoparking – Careerist Hard
- Complete a delivery that was greater than 2,000 km – Long hauler Medium
- Complete a perfect delivery (no damage, no fines, in-time) for a job that is at least 1000 km. – Job is only worth it if it’s done well! Medium
Trucks:
- Buy a truck online – From the comfort of your home Easy
- Design and apply to your truck a custom multi-color metallic paint – My precious Easy
- Drive at least 999 km with each truck brand featured in the game. Only your owned trucks are counted. (MAN, DAF, Majestic, Renault, Iveco, Scania, Volvo) – Test drive limited Medium
Company Progression:
- Own a garage in every city in your headquarter country – National company Medium
- Achieve at least 75% of the average garage productivity across all of your garages. Must own at least 10 large garages. – Performance optimizer Hard
- Own a garage in every city – Property magnate Hard
- Achieve 100% of productivity for at least 5 large garages at the same time – Working with the elite Hard
- Reach an average daily profit of €450,000 – Bath of success Hard
- Use quick travel to return to your headquarters – Honey, I’m home Easy
- Have at least 10 female and 10 male employees of maximum level in your company – Aspects of professionalism Hard
Misc
- Use a rest stop – Zzzzz Easy
- Use a filling station – Gas, no petrol! Easy

The statement in the above text that :
quote “Euro Truck Simulator 2 v1.3 is in the final testing stage now and will be available after couples of days.”
Is not what is officially stated by SCS on the Steam news section. So it is misleading to the masses to state such as I already see dolts posting on Steam complaining that achievements are broken and not working. There appear to be many dolts.
SCS says the current time frame is EXPECTED SOMETIME in September for 1.13 release, not a matter of days. Note, expected does not mean guaranteed. IT is just a current time frame expectation.
So, unless you have some secret inside information what is said above is wrong.

Actually, this doesn’t interest me in the least. I drive (and I think
most all do) for the fun and scenery, the fun of owning garages, trucks,
and drivers (not enough female drivers 🙁 ). All those new
achievements are sorta kindergarten stuff to me. What I’d like to see
is more interesting and diversified roads. There’s too much of the same
thing. For instance, the new Russian add-on Mod is really good in
providing a variety of scenery— the small towns you drive through, the
small but important extra touches the author added (a rabbit running
across the road! Great!), restaurants and small wayside buildings, and
things like that to break up the monotony. And I REALLY like those
trains and locomotives I see in the Russian map. I am hoping that while
the new American Truck Simulator is being created, the designers will
certainly insure that North American Trains are prototypical. They are
long (sometimes as many as 175 cars or more) and they blow the horns at
crossings. Also, American highways have plenty of billboards, truck
stops (not the same old same old you see in ETS2), small towns near the
highways, prototypical highway signs that show the mileage to the next
town(s) that can be easily read. Well, all you have to do is go on
Google Maps Street View to see what I mean. Now I’m NOT bashing ETS2 by
any means. I really enjoy it and have a lot of fun driving those
European highways and byways. Thanks to all the guys who created it.

I agree with you Dave. Have you tried the Hungary Map? That was so amazing too! They made it so green that you see lots of trees and bushes along the road, though the end of some roads needs to be fixed. Added to that are the electric posts which make the map more realistic!
I got all the achievements completed 100% 🙂 nice thing about the way SCS programed them, is they will automaticly detect what you have done in game and unlock instantly the first time you load your profile.
How Could I obtain the minimaxer achievement?
