Serbia Map v2.0 + Review
By This Serbia Map is a nice looking map and despite currently only having one route traveling north and south, there is plenty of variety along the way to keep you interested. In fact the scenery is quite distracting at times and I had to load a previous save more than once due to having accidents while looking around. I have not been to Serbia but I do know what to expect of the terrain and I’d say what’s on offer here definitely meets expectations. There’s wide city roads in and around the capital Belgrade (Beograd), then after heading south across the plains the roads turn very twisty indeed and soon it snakes it’s way through mountain ravines as you follow the path of the river.
An enjoyable drive which will take more than one sitting to complete. It’s not without a few problems mind you. I did find a couple of street lights in the road at one location, be sure to avoid those but more seriously the game crashed to desktop while trying to reach the Scania dealer at Novi Beograd. There were no problems at other dealers – all makes are present here by the way and there is another Scania dealer elsewhere. The AI seem to crash into each other at times but you could call that a real-time ‘feature’. Something what made me laugh was seeing a tractor coming towards me and the huge queue of traffic built up behind it. It was funny until I got stuck behind one myself. It would be nice to have more over-taking opportunities dotted along the twisty sections. I did not have a problem with slowing frame rates on any part of the map. I even tried it with Frosty mod and it worked fine for me.
There are roads that lead nowhere and you will hit an invisible wall if you stray from the road map but this tells me the author has ambition to fill out the map in a future update. More road network is needed with circular routes to make this map fully accomplished which will no doubt take a while judging by the standard already set here. For now, just enjoy the drive.

- Run game ~> Create new profile ~> Enable mod ~> Choose serbia.mbd at the Playing Module.
