By This Brazil Total Map is a pretty huge map with total 369 cities, a lots of types of road, plenty of new vehicles and objects.

Took a job from Porangatu to Palmas. The truck was a UK truck (driving on the wrong side for me) and at Palmas I met the traffic head-on. Received a “Wrong side driving penalty” just before the first traffic lights and I had to change to left driving to complete the job. Is there still some city in Brasil left driving ?
No, they most likely copied SCS’s UK on the map and renamed the cities and made a few changes here and there, causing the right hand drive trucks to be working there.

If you look carefully it is the European map with Scandinavia DLC with Brazilian names added. That’s why the western section is right hand drive (has M25 and M1 plus the scottish Forth Bridges still in it). It also has quite a lot of extra craziness but is not a map of Brazil
I downloaded the Brazil totalmap version 4.3.Its a huge map but it is im afraid very flawed by bad placements of speed humps/You do not put speed humps on a 50mph roadand they will wreck your truck.

The makers of Brazil 5.0 have stolen my Tropical Trees mod and incorporated it into their map. They did not ask permission or even give any credit. They do not have permission to use my mod and I consider this a breach of copyright and ask that you remove it. Stealing other peoples work should not be tolerated.

This map is total garbage. I wouldn’t want my work displayed on this map either. There are so many bugs I can’t even begin to count. My first run and I hit an overhead road sign embedded in the middle of the road. Whoever you are stop making maps, because you’re not very good at it. Go work at McDonalds.
As a mod reviewer I’m quite astounded to see some comments saying the map is quite buggy and a garbage as well. Well I believe the map isn’t that really garbage shit but still looks great. I’m working on with my review…

My review:
4 simple words to start: European, Buggy, Copycat and Uninteresting…
Brazil Total Map v5.1 is a huge map, covering the whole Brazil country. My first impressions were great but then it got to a point that I soon got demotivated due to the boring drive I’ve been and all sceneries look European. I couldn’t really get what it looks like the Brazilian landscape to see.
Then the bugs, urghh, black holes, AI having some crappy behavior, obstacles in roads, and some more that I love to puke out.
Another thing that I didn’t like what it’s simply a copycat from other works without any single credits. Grimes01 comment seems correct as I can see some tropical trees from himself, and I’ve tested his mods as well and found out these stuffs here. Another was the roads coming from Roads Brasil Map and EAA. I just see 3 different types of roads: Asphalt, concrete and cracking concrete, I wonder if there’s some more. Cities look just the same thing we see in ETS2. Lines in roads were pure HDR and I wonder if the yellow lines come from the Brutal Environment HD. All of these were uncredited and that is very disappointing. I wonder if there’s some more.
Lastly the map seems uninteresting. Despite its map is huge, all features are purely copycat, bugs and a European landscape, you wouldn’t like to explore further and just delete the mod.
Recommendation for this mod: highly unlikely

Hey guys, just thought I’d throw my two cents in on this map. I haven’t driven it all (not by a long shot it’s massive) but I started out in Concordia down in Santa Catarina and the scenery around there is very well done indeed! So there might be parts of this map which could do with a bit of fixing but there are also some very well done parts, for example the mountain passes (especially the one between Lauro Muller and Sao Joaquim… I have never been to Brazil but I imagine this is how it looks! A quick google street view search and he’s pretty well on the money with the scenery around in the southern regions at least 🙂 As for the stolen trees etc well that’s just not cool

Hey no worries! I just thought the guy who made it is getting a pretty bad rap. I’ve tried my hand at map making too and it’s absolutely no easy feat. It takes time, dedication, and a LOT of attention to detail. I can tell that the Brazil map has been thought out well and produced well. But hey, that’s just my opinion
