Winter Mod v7.2
By If you play ETS 2 for a long time, you should know this mod! This mod was released last year, and this is the latest version of it with new features!
- New tree textures
- Partially dirty vehicles and trailers
- Rather dark (about 20 clock), later Hell (about 6 clock)
- New sidewalk textures
- More snow on the discs in snow rain
- Very many new textures in horizon
- New hedges textures
- New loading images
- Vehicles always drive with your lights
- New road textures
- Modified street lighting
- Tire particles partially dirt.
Tried it out after reverting to 1.13. This is a fantastic, well done and all around beautiful mod. It’s very well put together and well executed. The extra effects give you the feeling of driving around on a yard that hasn’t been plowed, the rain still looks like rain but when it hits the windows you get a fantastic little snow effect that really gives you the feeling of driving in snow. Has a few sets of tire options that give you the look of having been driving around in snow. Whether they actually change driving physics I am not sure, but this was no slip and slide. The lack of physics to give you the feeling of driving on ice and snow with little to no traction was a bit off putting but it was nice to deliver a load without sliding off the road on every corner.
All and all this has to be a 5 out of 5, if you’re looking for a winter map then this is the one for you!

How to install mod for ETS 2:
- Download this mod.
- Extract it!
- Paste the .scs file(s) into your My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod folder.
- Run game ~> Edit profile ~> Enable mod.
- Enjoy!
I’m surprised a mod like this does not generate more comments than zero, in all this time.
I want to know if this mod will work with current version of the game, 1.12.1s and or if it will also work
with map mods such as TSM 5.2 and or RusMap 1.35
If not will the author please update this?
Xmas 2014 is coming quick.
After looking at screens I see it has a splash screen so I’m betting it broke with 1.11 for sure.
Seems like we will have a Winter mod for the latest update soon!

Can’t seem to get it to work with 1.14, just keeps telling me the their is an issue with the mod.

Is it compatible with RusMap 1.4 ? Thank’s for answear.
I haven’t tried yet, but I think that it could work fine because It just changed the textures in game.

works fine on v1.14 bet if you are running weather reload mod you will have to disable it.also works with russia 1.4 and promods running.really awesome mod

When i start the game it stop’s at 75% of the loading screen and the game close. I only have 1 mod the Peter… truck thing. I put it out and the same thing happend after that i tried to put some of the winter mod out and start but every time the same. What can i do?
