Weather Improvements v2.1
By Weather Improvements is another pretty nice mod from Grimes with these features:
- Cloud shadow dimming reduced
- Blue haze reduced
- Brighter days
- Darker nights
- Small size (12mb)
This Weather Improvements mod is a nice addition to the game. What it does, is it will make the sky bluer, the clouds nice and white and fluffy looking, or gray like you will see in a storm ahead of you.
I did drive a little bit at night, and I did find that it was darker, like the description says. I also found that the day light hours were brighter, also to the point of being to bright where you would need sun glasses on.
You will also find, that at certain points of driving, that the sun will go behind the clouds and it will get darker in the day light. I think this is a nice touch.
This mod also works in the 1.20 and 1.21 updates of the game. So this will work with out any trouble.
I will recommend this mod to any one that wants to try it.

How to install mod for ETS 2:
- Download this mod.
- Extract it!
- Paste the .scs file(s) into your My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod folder.
- Run game ~> Mod Manager ~> Enable mod.
- Enjoy!
This mod is actually compatible with 1.21 and 1.20.
How to install the mod?
Just download it and put it in your mod folder, no need to extract it as it’s already extracted.

At night it should have the moon, which is lacking in all weather mods!
I enjoyed the scenery though, I didn’t really “enjoy” the lighting during night. It felt a bit bright and the lack of a moon…. Overall, they did a really great job!
