EAA Brasil Bus Map v1.8 + Review
By This EAA Brasil map Bus Map is very interesting, instead of driving a truck, you are driving a bus. This I found to be a different side of driving a large vehicle.
So instead of pulling a 40 or 53 foot trailer you are driving one large vehicle full of people instead of cargo. I also found this to be fun but also with it’s own challenges.
It was fairly easy to drive the bus, I just had to swing a little wider then I did with the truck. I found that my blind spot on the right was a challenge to be able to see out the window when turning right, but also when I was changing lanes on the highway.
When I drove this map, although it is not very big, I only found one dealership that was selling buses. That was the Scania dealer, I found a Volvo dealer but there were not buses for sale there. I think this would be something that should be added in a update.
I also found some of the delivery points were not picking up the bus when I parked, So I had to hit ENTER to finish my trip, I think this needs to be looked at.
With that said, I think this is a real nice change from driving a truck, I think I am going to keep this map around for a while. I will post more updates in the future on this map and I will le you all know how it goes.

I can confirm that it works with 1.17 but it is definitely not ready for prime time. Second job I did it attached a full-length trailer to my bus …
Did one trip, and turned out very well. So far I can’t see any errors. I does seem like you can’t go to Europe though, which is really a big hit – but the map itself and the bus models are well done!

I am thinking that this type of of map could be extended into the Europe part of the map. Driving through the regular map, Promods, TSM, in many cities, there are inactive bus depots where passenger pickups & dropoffs could be done. I don’t know anything about map editing, but it does looks like it could be done.
I am playing the v1.17 version of this map. Maybe I am playing this map wrong but, is there a reason why the buses are not available for purchase in the dealerships/online with this map?
this map is crap I thought you said passengers. Why should I start in europe carring trailers instead of passengers. Buses should not carry physical trailers? I tried to start in brasil but it wont let me whats the give?

I feel that the game play could be much bigger and maybe better if all the different bus stops and bus depots that are inactive in many of the cities in the Europe part of the maps that EAA Bus can connect to, could be edited and made active as in the Brasil map.

My review:
I’ve drove some parts of the map, and I really like the new feature: Driving a bus!
This mod features new buses, bus companies, but comes with almost the identical map the Brasil Map EAA V2.3.2. Steering mechanism has significant changes. Turning is like when you driving a real bus, which is cool. The transmission is until D8 in Auto. You get to drive buses from one bus station to another bus station of another city. Also the route has been much extended for beginning level instead of the short trips. Earning income is also less, but accidents are bigger in penalty.
Unfortunately some parts of the map have been copy and pasted from the roads in the normal ETS2, and they add buildings in order to look like a city in Brazil, but no, it sucks especially in an important city. But the most important is that they added interesting roads and highways, with some detours too. Roads are quite same in Europe though, but it’s still interesting.

Seriously???!!!! When I’ll downloaded this mod I still can drag the map all the way to Brazil. But after a few days when I was playing, suddenly it could not be dragged out of the default map… Any suggestions?

Driving a bus looks really fun in this map. Its a shame its not compatible with 1.24
