A while ago, at the request of another ETS2 player, I created several variations of a truck physics mod, testing different settings. That led to a version akin to what I was looking for in a physics mod. It’s not too technical, but I think it gives the truck a better feeling of weight, especially pulling a big load. Of course, if you exceed the speed limit, you’re going to get cab wobble!
This is a video I made during development, to check how various parts of the truck moved and behaved (what you see is not the finished article!):
So if you like it, use it, there’ll be no updates or variations, tear it apart and change things if you want. It should work well with all stock SCS trucks (tested on Iveco Stralis, Volvo FH16, and DAF XF). Not really suitable for big American rigs (tested on Kenworth W900a) .
Compatibility: ETS2 1.13.x and 1.14.x
How to install mod for ETS 2:
- Download this mod.
- Extract it!
- Paste the .scs file(s) into your My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod folder.
- Run game ~> Edit profile ~> Enable mod.
